Lightning releases a large amount of energy in a very short amount of time. It creates an electric arc, which is as close as humans can come to “seeing” electricity.
Roy Sullivan has the world record for “most times struck by lightning”. He was struck by lightning 7 times. He served as inspiration for the short film Don vs. Lightning.
