• In-class assignment on static equilibrium – marks on shared documents
  • Re-do on Thurday, May 16 during FIT
  • Re-do mark replaces original mark
• Project – Build an Electromagnet – return last of them
  • Can re-submit for next week
• Deadfall Trap Project
  • Should be finished building a first prototype
    • Think of ideas for future prototypes – can re-use sticks from first prototype
  • Draw the free body diagrams of the 3 sticks and the rock (4 FBD’s total)
    • Include angles and lengths
  • Write out equations
    • Try to relate the equations back to what you observed worked well/poorly during construction of your first prototype
    • Have unique names for each force, across all 4 FBDs
    • End up with 12 equations and 12 unknowns
