Bacon-wrapped Asparagus

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 454 g bacon thick sliced
  • toothpicks


  • Heat the oven to 400 °F.
  • Remove the rough end from the asparagus, and cut the asparagus into 10 cm pieces.
  • Cut the bacon strips in half.
  • Wrap 3-4 pieces asparagus in a piece of bacon, and hold in place with a toothpick through the bacon and several pieces of aparagus.
  • Cook the bacon in the oven for 20 minutes, rotating after 10 minutes.
  • Set the oven to broil, and broil for 2 more minutes.
