- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter cut into thin pieces
- 4-6 tbsp ice cold water
- Using a pastry blender, mix flour, butter and salt until it resembles a coarse meal.
- Add ice water, 1 tbsp. at a time, and mix until combined.
- Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate at least 2 hours (and ideally overnight).
- Bring dough to room temperature.
- Lightly flour the counter and the dough. Roll out into a 12" diameter circle.
