Pulled Pork
Ingredients
- 2 kg pork shoulder
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 large onions chopped into 1 cm pieces
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1.5 tsp dried thyme
- Buns for serving
Instructions
- Spread the oil over the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the pork shoulder on top.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients. Pour over the meat.
- Cook on high for 6 hours.
- Shred the pork with 2 forks. Cook on high for 1 more hour.
- Serve on buns.
