Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage sliced
- 3/4 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 28 oz can of crushed/blended tomatoes
- 12 oz tomato paste
- 13 oz tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1.5 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp fennel seed
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Cook the sausage, ground beef, onion and garlic until the meat is well-browned.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, and cook, covered, on low heat for 2 hours.
