Ham and Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tsp mustard
- 2 medium eggs
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tsp butter
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
Instructions
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- In a saucepan, mix all the other ingredients on low heat.
- Slowly add the eggs, making sure the heat is low enough to prevent coagulation. You may want to remove the saucepan from the heat for a couple minutes before adding the eggs. If any coagulation occurs, blend it until smooth and then put it back on the stove to thicken.
- After the eggs are mixed in, increase heat to medium and cook until thickened.
