Ham and Mustard Sauce Recipe

Ham and Mustard Sauce


  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar


  • Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  • In a saucepan, mix all the other ingredients on low heat.
  • Slowly add the eggs, making sure the heat is low enough to prevent coagulation. You may want to remove the saucepan from the heat for a couple minutes before adding the eggs. If any coagulation occurs, blend it until smooth and then put it back on the stove to thicken.
  • After the eggs are mixed in, increase heat to medium and cook until thickened.
