Classic Beef Jerky

Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef flank steak, sliced
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Mix ingredients. Marinate overnight.
  • Thread toothpicks through the meat slices and hang from oven racks. Place a tray under the meat to catch the drippings.
  • "Bake" at 50 C with the oven door slightly open. The jerky will be ready in about 8 hours.
